About Dina
My grandad practised yoga at 5am every morning in our living room and as a child I’d sneak down and giggle at the strange breathing noises and slow movements that didn’t seem like exercise to me. It wasn’t until I was experiencing chronic stress, juggling two children, a demanding job in public relations and perimenopause that I really embraced the power of yoga for myself.
Yoga helps me to ground myself, to be in my body and creates a sense of presence and peace with the added bonuses being strength, mobility and flexibility. As well as the asanas, or yoga postures, I practice meditation, breathwork, radical compassion and lots of other forms of mindfulness (like jigsaw puzzles!) that have been the greatest support through life’s challenges.
My goal as a yoga teacher is to guide you gently so that you may uncover the immeasurable benefits of yoga for yourself, whether you’re a beginner or someone who practises regularly, I hope that I may share the gift of yoga with you.
